The aim of the workshop is to train graduates; post graduates students and researcher from Bioinformatics, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, and other related fields on structural bioinformatics.

      · Introduction to Structural Bioinformatics

      · Databases (NCBI, PDB)

     · 3D Structure visualization (Paymol and Swiss pdb Viewer)

     · BLAST and ClustalW

     · Protein Structures (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and quaternary)

     · Prediction of Secondary Structure (ExPASy)

     · Homolog Modeling (Swiss Model and Modeller)

     · Model Validation (Hydropathy plot, Ramachandran plot)

Eligibility

This webinar is primarily open to participants from EMRO and Islamic Countries and it is limited to a maximum number of 50 individuals. Participants from other countries are also welcome.

The workshop language is English.
